Nationals 2017

BIRMINGHAM NATIONALS 2017

Sophia Skwarchuk received a gorgeous trophy
in recognition of being a
FOUR-TIME QUALIFIER

  • Noah Love placed 7th in the nation out of 256 LD Debaters! He automatically qualifies to return to nationals next year in Florida.
  • Tristan Phillips made it to the top 25 (out of 333) in Informative speaking, just missing semi-finals and auto-qualification.

Flathead had another incredible showing this year.

In addition to this year's accolades, FHS has had a DUO finish 11th in the nation, auto-qualifying for the following year (Wyatt Dykhuizen/Parker Kouns), and two 6th place finalists in Impromptu speaking (Wyatt McGillen & Sophia Skwarchuk), all within the last three years. Way to go, team!
