  State Tournament--Billings

January 29-30

Students will follow a regular school day on Thursday.

Transportation:          

The bus will leave from FHS at 3:30 PM on THURSDAY. DON’T BE LATE. We will travel to Bozeman on Thursday night and then head to Billings on Friday morning. Our expected return is sometime around 4:00 AM—we’ll have the kids call when we reach Lakeside.

Debate Schedule:  

Friday at 2pm, 4pm, 6pm, 8pm 

Saturday at 8am, 10am (octafinals), noon (semifinals), 2pm (quarterfinals), 4pm (finals).

Speech and Legislative Debate Schedule:   
Friday at 3:30, 5:30, 7:30 

Saturday at 8:30, 10:30, 1:30pm (semifinals), 4:00pm (finals).

Extemp draw will take place one half hour before the round.

Awards: Will begin at Big Sky Auditorium as soon as the final results are tabulated following the final round of debate. 

  
Location:  

All Speech events will be held at Big Sky High School. All Debate events, including Legislative Debate, will be held at Hellgate High School.
  
Concessions: Will be available at both schools. Students must bring a water bottle and some money for lunch/concessions. I will buy the team dinner on Saturday.

Choteau Travel Information

Bus leaves FHS FRIDAY AFTERNOON at 3:30 PM.

Competition is one day only, beginning Saturday morning. Awards will be around 6:00 and the bus will leave right after. Students who need to be picked up Saturday night will be reminded to call their parents as the bus nears Kalispell.
